Nothing about this business changed during 2025 from previous years. This is a sole proprietorship.

Bestbuy and other "marketplaces" allow their web sites to be used by third parties who give them a cut of the proceeds. And they don't always check that the vendor is reliable or honest. This can happen on any marketplace platform that allows third party vendors. You have to be very careful when it does not say "Sold by Bestbuy" or "sold by Target" or "Sold by Walmart" but is sold by someone else.
And yes, this is not an authorized reseller. They might just steal your money, or they might give you a copy with an invalid license or a partially used license that you can't fully use. And if it doesn't work as expected, Turbotax corporate won't fix it for you.

Is your son older than 19, and did he have earned income. These are both conditions that may disqualify him from being a dependent. Please check the IRS General rules for Dependents

For tax purposes, "disabled" means unable to perform gainful work. Many people with medical disabilities can work, and are not disabled for tax purposes.
Specifically for children, "disabled" also means unable to care for themselves, so that you need to hire a caregiver even if they are over the age of 12.
Otherwise, no, she is not disabled for tax purposes.

If your health insurance came from the marketplace-- aka healthcare.gov-----aka Affordable Care Act---aka "Obamacare" then yes, you must enter a 1095A. If you did not have marketplace health insurance, then you will not have a 1095A to enter. When it asks about it say NO and just move on. You do not ever enter a 1095B or 1095C.

That actually doesn't matter. The place you donate the item to is not required to sell at full fair market value, or give you confirmation of what they sold them for (except in the case of motor vehicles).
The fair market value is what you could get for the same or similar item in its present condition as of the date of donation. In this case, that would be the value of "used" (new in box unused but 1 year old) hearing aids. If the charity gave you a reported value, you can use that, or you can use a different value if you have some reasonable way of determining what that value is. (Like eBay sales, maybe.). Keep copies of whatever records you used to determine the value.
Technology can be funny. For example, if these are model 1, and model 2 came out that was 100 times better than model 1, model 1 might be nearly worthless. On the other hand, if model 2 suffered a huge downgrade in quality, there might be a demand for model 1 that would drive up the price. If audited, the IRS will want to see that you made some kind of reasonable attempt to determine the market value from reliable sources of information.
Then, because you held the items more than 1 year, you can claim a deduction equal to the FMV, even though you did not pay for them yourself.

The federal stimulus checks were issued for tax years 2020 and 2021. Sorry, but it is now too late to seek those checks. The deadline has passed.

Do I get a credit or deduction if my child is disabled?
If your child is older than 12 and you need to pay someone to take care of him while you work, you can say he is disabled and you can still get the childcare credit on your federal return. Or if he is 19 or older you may still be able to claim him as a qualifying child dependent on your federal return.
Aside from those things, there is no federal tax advantage to saying that your child is disabled. Your state tax laws might be different.
Of course, you can enter medical expenses for your child under medical expenses in Deductions and Credits if you are itemizing deductions.

E-filing is permanently closed for 2024 returns. The only way to file your 2024 return now is by mail. Print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail it in.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
