I am a resident alien and a postdoctoral researcher. Last year, my income came from both my university salary and an NRSA F32 fellowship stipend. The W-2 issued by the university does not seem to include the fellowship stipend, as the university does not withhold taxes on it. However, I understand that I am responsible for reporting the fellowship stipend as taxable income. They recommended that I report this myself and consult with the tax preparer. I have not received any other tax forms.
I have two questions:
1. In addition to entering my W-2 amount in the system, where should I report the fellowship stipend?
2. How can I calculate the fellowship amount? Can I simply subtract FED TAX GRS from TOT GRS on my last pay stub and report the difference as "other income"? Do I need to attach the last pay stub as proof?
Thank you for your guidance.

1. To report the fellowship stipend follow these steps:
2. Federal taxable gross would be the taxable income. Keep your paystub in case the IRS asks- do not attach it.
