Document not sent with original filing

I sent my 2024 tax filing at the end of January.  I received a letter saying that I omitted a document required. I mailed the document to IRS and also faxed the document to the IRS at the end of March.  How long will this take to receive my refund?  Thank you

It depends.  The IRS can take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks to process additional documents.  However, at times, they are slower and can take a few months.  The best thing to do is to call them to find out or use the Where's My Refund Tracker to check on the status.
