I need to file an extension for kansas. How would i do this through turbotax?

Kansas (KS) automatically gives you a 6-month extension to October 15 if you filed an approved federal extension or don't owe them taxes. If you owe them taxes, submit payment by April 15 to avoid penalties. Print and mail Form K-40V along with your check payment.
