If you have to file a tax return for 2015, you cannot use TurboTax Online. TurboTax Online is only for the current tax year, which is now 2016. To file for 2015 you have to use the CD or download TurboTax software for 2015. You can purchase a download at the following link.

You might get a better price from a reputable online seller that still has TurboTax for 2015 in stock.

TurboTax does not allow returns for past years to be e-filed. You will have to print your 2015 tax return and file it by mail.

Are you sure you have to file a tax return for 2015? If you did not have enough income to be required to file, and you are filling out the FAFSA, you can just say that you didn't file a tax return. You can use the Interactive Tax Assistant tool at the following link on the IRS web site to determine whether or not you are required to file a tax return for 2015. If you did not have any income at all in 2015, then you certainly do not have to file.
