It’s asking for my colleges EIN number. Is it the same for everyone? I paid some of my tuition and that’s why it’s asking for it. My college does have an EIN number on their website but

without a 1098-t your going to have problems.  so call and get it.   however, not all educational institutions a re qualified for purposes of various tax credits and deductions so they won't be issuing the form.
