Where do I enter my homeschool/private school deductions under?

You can take the credit on your IL state return.    After you finish your federal return, you'll be taken to your state return.    There will be a screen for additional tax breaks for IL residents, click Start next to K-12 Instructional materials and supplies, see the image below.
