You can add another 1098-T for another student or for another school by following these instructions:

1. Go to Federal

2. Choose the Deductions and Credits tab

3.  Select Education

4.  Select Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T)

5.  From here, you will see a Summary page, on the left side you'll see a blue box Add Another Student.

6.  If you need to add another 1098-T for the same student, select Edit on the upper right side.

7.  In the middle of the page, there is a blue link Add another School

Once you click on this TurboTax will ask about the school and your 1098-T.

I am using the computer version, not the online version. I cannot see how to add another 1098-T. I'm on the deductions and credits page. I scroll down to education, as this post says, and I see "Expenses and Scholarships (1098-T)", but the only thing to click is "Update" and that does NOT take me to any summary page. It takes me to "Let's gather (first student)'s expenses." I do not see ANYWHERE to add another student.

You have to work through the entries you made for the first 1098-T, then you will see an option to enter another one.

Where do I enter a second college 1098-T amount

I found i had to go to forms view, where I found a 1098-T with no value for in Box 1.   Filling it in, I was able to return to interview mode and proceed.

If you want to add another 1098-T - you do it by adding another school.   You can edit or add to your tuition amounts from the Education Summary Page, try these steps:

When you are signed into your tax return, you can type 1098-t into the search bar at the top of the screen, hit enter, then click on the Jump to 1098-t link to get back to the education section in TurboTax.   You will be taken to the education section but the exact screen you will land on depends on where you left off.  Click through the screens until you get to the Expenses Summary, which will list all students on your return.  From here you can add another student.

In order to change the tuition amounts, you will need to click on Edit, next to the name of the student on the screen titled Your Education Expenses Summary.

That will take you to a screen titled Here's Your Education Summary.  From this screen, you can edit the tuition amounts by clicking on Edit next to the name of the school.  Or you can add another 1098-T by clicking on Add another School or Add another 1098-T.

Or you will get a screen that says - Did you go to another school?   Answer Yes, and it will take you to another 1098-T entry screen.

Glad you got yours taken care of @malcook
