I have taxable distributions from a 529 plan but when it is time to check I get the congress is still working on a law message and cant proceed. When will taxpayers who have a 1099-Q be able to file online thru TurboTax?

I have no answer, I just wanted to thank you for asking this as it is the only error that I'm getting when I do the review. Hoping someone can answer soon so I can get these done and e-filed
TurboTax is updating the program because Congress changed a tax law concerning a 1099-Q distribution just recently.
If this is showing as an error and not allowing you to file, you will receive an email when the software is ready.
Thank you for your patience.
Im trying to figure out when that is. When will turbotax update its program to allow us to e-file? @KrisD15
I am sorry, but that information is not given to me.
I do not want to come across as uncaring, I'm not. I just want to pass along what I know so that you know too.
@Larisa72 Just to let you know I got tired of waiting so I just re-entered my info into H&R Blocks app , they let me e-file and it was about $6 less than what turbo tax is charging for deluxe, this 1099Q is the only reason I have to pay to do my taxes this year, Ill be back to turbo tax next year when I have a simple return.
I saw another post saying the form would be available on Feb 12
if you move to H&R block, ask yourself the question if by making it available quickly do you have confident H&R did it right?
