Was the tuition & fees deduction extended to 2017? First I received the Lifetime learning credit but after updating Turbo Tax, it changed to the tuition & fees deduction.

I would like verification that the tuition and fees tuition credit was extended to 2017.

Pres Trump signed a number of tax credits back into law on 2/9 retroactive to 2017. This is just one and TT just recently updated their program. TT can only provide changes once the IRS has updated their forms.
