Tuition Assistance as Income

My employer gave me money as part of a tuition assistance program, but the money was provided as income. I paid tax on what they provided. Do I still report that as tuition assistance in the education section when entering my school information in TurboTax?

Tuition Assistance as Income

No, you don't report it as employer-provided assistance - if tuition assistance is included in your gross wages. It is considered your after-tax money, and your education expense. Don't reduce 1098-T tuition by that amount.
