Thanks for your reply, but unfortunately it is still not working and my software is updated through today, 3/1/26. I am assuming because I am using the Home & Business version of the software, not the Premium version? All I know is I just updated the software, which I do every time I open it, and did what you suggested. I deleted the People worksheet, re-entered the correct information yet the Student Education worksheet is still showing the wrong answers. So obviously still not calculating the eligible Lifetime Learning credit.
I am sorry. Please , contact customer support.
one more thing. restart your computer.
Good luck
Thanks again, appreciate your comments and suggestions. I have contacted customer support but unfortunately they were of no help. As for a system restart, I do that every day. It definitely is a program issue.
However, I did find a work around. I transferred the 2024 return to the 2025 program again and saved under a different file name. Then, instead of entering the data directly on each form as I usually do I used the step by step interview feature. It took longer to complete the return but all the data transferred to the Student Info worksheet properly. FINALLY!!
Good Job. but certainly frustrating to go over so many steps. Thankfully you are resourceful and found a solution. I agree that customer support is not always helpful. I wonder how TurboTax knows about glitches to fix, and if they are located Nation site.
Keep up your good Job
