My financial aid requires I obtain a copy of my 2017 amended tax return (form 1040X). If I remember correctly, I printed the PDF of the 1040X from the IRS website that year and mailed it in. I did not use Intuit or TurboTax services and I seem to have misplaced my copy (if I in fact made one). Can I use this service to obtain a copy of my 1040X from 2017? I have attempted to contact the IRS concerning this matter and am unable to actually get anyone to answer the phone. Any help or advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

The only way to use TurboTax for the 2017 amended tax return would be to exactly recreate the 2017 federal tax return that was originally filed.  Then print the tax return so the software assumes that the 2017 return was filed.  After that you could amend the 2017 tax return.  You would have to use one of the 2017 desktop editions installed on a personal computer to start this procedure.  The lowest cost 2017 desktop edition edition is the Deluxe edition at $79.99 - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/
