Part Year Resident

Hi all. My wife and I moved to Colorado last year on January 15th. I am filing part year resident for Colorado and my previous state, but when asked to enter the dates I lived in Colorado it will only let me input the month and the year. Because of this it thinks I lived in Colorado from January to December (the whole year). When I go to submit everything it is telling me that my part year resident status is incorrect and will not let me file without changing it.

You need to change your dates of residency to February through December. You begin residency the first whole month you are in the state.
