My Calif. school district EID has only 8 digits

EIN number formats are 9 digits long.  I would try looking up the EIN number at the following IRS website --  https://apps.irs.gov/app/eos/pub78Search.do?ein1=03-0602301&names=Indian+Institute+of+Science+Alumni...
