When will TurboTax put the tuition and fees deduction back in now that Congress has extended it?

It's hard to say for sure.  These late changes upset the apple cart in a busy part of tax season, so it will be interesting to see how it evolves and how soon, or not so soon.

First the IRS will have to write all the rules and program it on their end.  Then TurboTax will have to program it, test it with the IRS, and be approved for efiling the info.  So it could take some time, i.e., a few weeks.
