i though we did school tax

Which state are you trying to claim school district taxes in? I can provide an example of how you might enter this information using Ohio's return:

1. Sign in - then Continue your/take me to my return
2. Go to State Taxes - Your State Returns, Edit Ohio.
3. Your Ohio taxes are ready for us to check - locate General Info, Edit
4. Review your local info (residency status, county, school district)
5. If you live in a district that doesn't collect taxes:
   
   On the page titled A few things before we wrap up your state taxes- locate School district taxes - Revisit/Start, then check None of the above (see below image)
