I am now enrolled in a program thru region 13 to obtain my teaching certification since I already have 4yr degree, is that considered college tuition?

You may consider it as college tuition if your school is an eligible educational institution. IRS allows you to claim a lifetime learning credit if your school is an eligible educational institution and participates in a student aid program administered by the U.S. Department of Education.

Please use the U.S. Federal Student Aid Code List if you aren’t sure if your school is an eligible educational institution. If your school is on the list, it is eligible.
