@ ezgialten asked: "Hello i am student in Turkey right now. Should i say i was full time student or is it just for students in Us"
First, you need to explain your situation. You may or may not be able to use TurboTax, which is only for US citizens and "resident aliens for tax purposes." If you are considered a "non-resident alien for tax purposes" you have to use Form 1040NR, which TurboTax does not prepare, but there is an affiliate partner (Sprintax) that can handle that, if needed. Please answer the following questions, which will help determine what product you can use and how to proceed:
What is your citizenship status? USA, or what country?
If not a US citizen, what dates were you in the USA?
What type of visa were you under?
Were you a student while in the USA and/or did you work in the USA?
Are you married?
If you answer those questions, someone familiar with international filing will hopefully be able to advise you further.
Full time student has different effects, in taxes, depending on what you are doing. That said, the simple answer is: in the personal info section of TT, you do answer that you were a full time student. This mostly affects if you can be claimed as a dependent.
