This enrollment status question is in the Education section, and it's after I have already entered the 1098-T and all education expenses. I am claiming my 19 year old son as a dependent and he is a full time college student in terms of dependency. I have already entered our 1098-T earlier in the education section including Box 8 which is checked "at least half-time student." Now, TurboTax is asking for my son's enrollment status? Do I answer "full time" OR "at least half time"? I understand that this question is not for the purpose of the 1098-T since that has already been answered, so I do not know how to answer.

Based on what you're saying, it sounds like you should answer full time.
A full-time student, according to IRS rules, is defined as a student enrolled for the number of hours or courses that the school considers to be full-time attendance. If that's the case, full time would be the correct response.
Please see the TurboTax Help article Am I considered a full-time student? for more information.
Thank you for the reply. I looked at the university's website to verify and they classify a student who is registered for 12 or more semester hours as full time. So, based on the university classification, my son would be full time. I will answer the TurboTax enrollment status question with "full time."
