Hi. I am a full time student. My parents claim me as a dependent and take the tuition credit. I know that I can’t take the credit (although I contribute $8000 toward the tuition) but I did pay an additional $1000 to take & pass an EMT course (plus paid for and passed the state licensing exam). Can I deduct any of that? I work hard and have three jobs. Thank you!
