Can a homeschooled student be considered a 'full-time student'?

16-year-old homeschooled high school student filing taxes for the first time. Can I mark the 'I was a full-time student' box since I am enrolled in a cover school and participating full time in curriculum schoolwork?

Can a homeschooled student be considered a 'full-time student'?

There is no tax reason for a taxpayer to indicate that their 16 year  old dependent  is a fulltime student.  FT student only matters when the dependent is over 18.
