529 distribtion 1099Q

I still see no place in 2025 turbotax to detail a 1099Q. I see the 1099-T section. I took out a distribution that was nonqualified but my daughter has a scholarship so I won't incur the 10% penalty. There are capital gains on the earnings though? Where do I enter this? Whenever I type in 1099-Q to search nothing comes up. Thanks

Here is how you can find the entry area for your 1099-Q: navigate to Deductions & Credits then select Deductions & Credits Summary, scroll to Education, click to expand it, then you can select ESA and 529 Distributions (Form 1099-Q).

Don't forget you can use these funds on expenses other than tuition, like a computer, supplies, and room and board. Publication 970 has further details on the types of additional expenses you can use these funds for.
