I entered a 1099-R total distribution in the amount of $0.02. TurboTax will not allow me to e-file because - it says - "Gross distribution amount should have a value and should be greater than $0.50"
It gave me the same error message when I entered it, but allowed me to go all the way through to clicking the e-file SUBMIT button, then goes back to that message.
It is a legit 1099-R.
How can I fix this?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
As 2 cents will round down to 0, you can safely disregarded this form 1099-R. Do not enter on your tax return. If already entered, you should delete it.
Thank you!
