Go back through the Education Expenses and 1098-T section carefully all the way to the Education Summary page. It sounds as thought your 1098-T is correct. It has a Tuition amount in Box 2 and a Scholarship amount in Box 5.
The amount of Education Credit you can receive is the Box 2 amount minus the Box 5 amount. This is considered what you paid 'out of pocket'.
You may not qualify for a credit if the Box 5 amount is more than the Box 2 amount. You can include the amount you paid for books and other required fees as 'Additional Expenses'.
