It depends. Did you have rental property now or in the past where you had passive losses that were carried over? Also, do you have K1 income you reported in your return that reported passive losses?
No I do not :(
Assuming you had no rental income or rental losses in prior years, and no carryover losses from prior years, a possible solution might be to review your return as it exists now, and compare it with your 2020 return. It appears that you have completed your return because you are ready to file, but are getting some kind of error message relating to passive losses. Generally, passive income and passive losses are associated with rental properties, which is the reason why the prior Expert requested additional information along those lines.
If you have access to your 2020 return, you can compare it with your current year and determine if your current year return has a form that you do not recognize or does not look familiar.
If you are using TurboTax Online, here are the steps to follow to preview your Form 1040:
1. Open or continue your return.
2. Select Tax Tools in the left menu (if you don't see this, select the menu icon in the upper-left corner).
3. With the Tax Tools menu open, you can then:
a. Preview your entire return: Select Print Center and then Print, Save, or Preview This Year's Return (you may be asked to register or pay first).
b .View only your 1040 form: Select Tools. Next, select View Tax Summary in the pop-up, then Preview my 1040 in the left menu.
When you select Preview my 1040, you will be able to review the entries on your Form 1040, and if applicable, Schedules 1, 2, and 3. If there are any entries that do not appear to be accurate or consistent with the types of income you had in 2020, perhaps that could be the source of the problem.
Additionally, in Step 3(b) above, there will also be an option in the pop-up window to delete a form. If you click on that link you will be able to see what forms you have generated. Compare the forms on the list with your 2020 tax return. If you see a form that you do not recognize or are not familiar with, provide that information in a follow-up post. Do not delete a form on your list of forms unless you are certain such form is not necessary. In any follow-up post, do not include any personal identifiable information.
Lastly, you can also select the Live Help icon in the TurboTax application and discuss the issue with a Live Expert.
