Why do I have a 1099-NEC worksheet on my return when I am not self employed?

I did not receive a 1099-NEC and can't seem to figure out how to remove this from my return.

Given that you have a 1099-NEC worksheet which is not needed and is apparently interfering with your ability to complete and/or e-file your return, deleting it seems to be the best option.   Assuming you are using TurboTax Online, follow these steps to find and delete the 1099-NEC and Worksheet.

1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
2. In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
3. In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
4. Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.
