Where is the local tax line on W-2 forms? In PA, we need to list the taxable wages, the amount of tax withheld and the local municipality name or number
The local tax information is in boxes 18, 19, and 20 on the W-2 form. It might be alongside the state information, which is in boxes 15, 16, and 17. Employers and payroll services don't all use the standard IRS W-2 form, so the layout can vary.
