What answer do I need to put into the SC1040: Line u other Subs Desc?

You only need to enter a description if you entered an 'other subtraction' on your SC tax return. Did you enter a subtraction? If so, which one? If not, you can leave the field blank.

See page 20 of the instructions for a list of 'other SC subtractions'.

It will not allow me to file without entering a subsistence allowance, but I do not qualify for one. I don't understand what to do.
