If you have a LLC Sole Proprietorship you cannot file the business and your W-2 income separately on returns. You need to combine the two income sources in one return.

To enter the LLC business income and expenses you would:

  • Enter schedule c in the Search Magnifying Glass in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
  • Select Go to Schedule C.

If you have an LLC Partnership, you must file a Form 1065 for the partnership. When you file the return it will produce a Form K-1 from which you will enter the information into your individual return.

In your question, you said We have a LLC Business. If you and your spouse both participate in the LLC business, you are required to file a Partnership return. See Business Software to file a Partnership.
