Not entirely sure how to start it, but you need an "Asset Entry Wks".  There will be a spot for Section 179 on that.

So, in other words, you do not know.  This was just a guess.

Please only anyone who knows the answer to respond.

I am 100% certain that you need the "Asset Entry Wks".  But I am unsure how to find/create that worksheet when you are in "Forms Mode".

NOTE:  I personally would not recommend trying to prepare the Asset Entry Worksheet using Forms Mode.   The worksheet can be very complicated and is intertwined with other forms from which values flow.   The safest approach is to use the step-by-step interview mode, where it asks you various questions about the asset (including depreciation methods, Sec. 179, etc.), so that everything flows to the proper underlying worksheets.   You can always view the Asset Entry Worksheet at any point if you wish to see how things flowed to it.

That having been said, I can tell you how to get to an Asset Entry Worksheet even though I personally don't recommend preparing it in Forms Mode.  In Forms Mode you can get the Asset Entry Worksheet by going to the list of forms in the left column, and in the Windows version there is an "Open Form" icon above that list of forms (may vary some in Mac version).  When you click "Open Form", that opens a form search line.  Enter the term asset entry without quotes, and you will get a dropdown menu of 8-9 types of Asset Entry Worksheets depending on what other form/schedule you need to relate it to.   Similarly you can use that form search method to look for forms related to the term section 179 (no abbreviation.)
