TurboTax Desktop Software Year Upgrade Clarification

Hello,

I purchased the TurboTax Desktop software in 2024. However, when I started filing my taxes this year for the 2026 tax filing, the software is still reflecting the 2024 version.

Could you please confirm whether a new purchase or an upgrade is required each year to file taxes for the current year? Also, let me know if there is an option to upgrade to the latest version without additional cost.

For reference, I am using the latest version of Windows 11 with all current updates installed.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
Shanthamurthy Hanumantharayappa
