The IRS does not have my 2019 Taxes on File but Turbo Tax does. I am not getting stimulus because of this. Neither of the phone numbers work. What can I do?

Turbo Tax says they have filed my taxes but the IRS says they are not filed.

If you received an email stating that the IRS received your return, the IRS might still be processing it.  There is a way that you can see all of the history regarding your 2020 tax return and previous years.  

You can check the status of your return  through the IRS website using your IRS Online Account.

Online Account is an online system that allows you to securely access your individual account information.  You can view:

• The amount you owe, updated for the current calendar day
• Your balance details by year
• Your payment history and any scheduled or pending payments
• Key information from your most recent tax return
• Payment plan details, if you have one
• Digital copies of select notices from the IRS
• Your Economic Impact Payments (EIP 1 and EIP 2), if any

You can also:

• Make a payment online
• See payment plan options and request a plan via Online Payment Agreement
• Access your tax records via Get Transcript

Yes I have check the status and the IRS says they do not have it and that someone has fraudulently filed in my name. I then spoke with a Turbo Tax person and they said it's no problem and I'll get my stimulus even though I didn't receive my second one. I wonder why I would choose to use Turbo Tax when they say they filed my taxes and everything is working but the IRS says they weren't and that someone fraudulently filed in my name.

The IRS is still dealing with several million 2019 filings left over from the COVID shutdown.  They have assured the public that, if your return was Accepted, they have it and will eventually process it.  In fact, they are imploring taxpayers not to call them.  So all you can do is continue to wait patiently.
