Reporting points earned on a business credit card
How do I report points that I receive from a business credit card? The credit card gives 1 point for each $1 spent.
1 point is worth $0.01.
For example, if I spent $100 on shipping costs should I report just $99 since the credit card gives me $1 back?

Points earned will give rise to cash back. You do not count the points as you earn them on the credit card.
When you receive and use the cash back, you will then reduce the price of one of the items you purchase with the cash back.

Thank you! This makes it much easier than counting the points.

To keep everything above board, you should use the points or the cash back to buy additional business items, not personal items.
