you could try to contact the company to see if they can issue you a copy
if this fails then
if the company filed the w-2s with the Social Security Admin you have 1 option
since e-filing is closed you must paper file and enclose a copy of the w-2 which you can get from the Social Security Admin for $90
https://faq.ssa.gov/en-us/Topic/article/KA-02501
call them first since it's possible the company never filed them
if they didn't file them, you must complete form 4852 and submit it with your return
The people that own the business sold the business and now I’m not in business are used to work at gull Road at McDonald’s and it was some name Mexican name that owned it when I worked there
If the company filed the W-2 forms then either contact SS for a copy (for a price) or get a wage transcript from the IRS.
If they did not file a W-2 and you have the last paycheck stub you can file a substitute W-2 with your return.
Otherwise you can guess on the earnings but without some paper proof the withholdings cannot be claimed.
