From DavidS127's post in this series:
After entering the information for your Schedule C, there is a Continue button at the bottom of the page. When you Continue, you encounter a screen "Is this Qualified Business Income?". When you choose the button Yes, the next screen is "Let's cover some uncommon situations". One of the boxes is "This business received Form 1099-PATR". If you select that box, new boxes open up to enter your 1099-PATR amounts.
If you didn't have a 1099-PATR, you should check to make sure that none of those boxes have anything in them. Check the box for 1099-PATR, make sure everything is blank (not zero), and then un-check the 1099-PATR box.
I have the same problem with this Agricultural thing in line K 1. I agree with everyone, and cannot file my tax return when this is preventing me. It is a software problem that needs to be fixed immediately. My business has absolutely nothing to do with agricultural. Turbo Tax claims that they pride themselves on customer service, but they apparently are ignoring all of us who cannot file our taxes due to a problem they haven't fixed or even offered us a reply.
Nice try, but no dice. I did exactly what you said, step-by-step as you described. Everything was blank, as you said. No zeroes, etc. when I got to the Error Check, it still goes to that same K 1 line for agricultural. This is infuriating. Somebody fix this error in the software!!!!
Don't bother. That does not work either. Turbo Tax needs to fix this and reply to customers!
I finally got it to work after entering my business's income in this box (I did this after reading another article about the coop and how it cannot be more than your income; 0 or 1 would have been more so I entered the negative number and that worked).
How do I answer the question on Schedule C part K about the Net income allocable to qualified payments from agricultural or horticultural coop? I have tried putting 0, 0.00, -1, leaving the field blank and continue getting the error message on the review. I have tried the different answers from the posts with no luck. This error msg will not allow me to e-file my taxes. The token number is 684638. Please call/email me with a resolve for this error. Thank You!

The best solution to this problem on DESKTOP is to go to forms, locate schedule C, then click on step-by-step in the top right corner and the first question it asks you should be ticked NO. This will solve the problem with the error associated with Schedule C Part K. Not sure about how to fix it on TurboTax Online.. But I do know it has something to do with the questions you are asked, be sure to answer these questions carefully in regards to your business and you should be fine, if not, play around with the yes and no answers and the error should clear, good luck!
Return review indicated Sched. C error.
Please clarify if you are asking a question related to this thread or if you are posting a comment. If a question, please clarify the error you are seeing and where in your return.

I've sent a diagnostic file, my token # is 1118960
Can you clarify what your question is? It's possible we can just answer your question here.
This was a question that I brought up a couple of years ago. I think there was a system issue that would not allow me to enter "0" because my business had nothing to do with agriculture... I have not had this issue in the last year or two so it must have been fixed. Thanks.
have the same problem and it doesn't fix the issue. HELP, HELP, HELP PLEASE HELP
