Form IT-225 is used for New York additions and/or subtractions that do not have a separate line on your return.

For a list of all the New York additions and subtractions, please see the quick reference charts in the IT-225 Instructions starting on page 17 of the PDF. 

Find your code in the list but remove the letter when you enter the code in Part 2. Example: A-101 Code from the list would be entered as "101". 

If none of these situations apply to you, then you can delete this form from your return.

To delete, please follow these steps:

1. Open your tax return.
2. Click on Tools.
3. Click on Delete a Form. 
4. Scroll down to your state forms and look for the Form IT-225 and click Delete.
