So today we were successful E-Filing the Federal taxes only, with the MD state ones disabled. The MD state ones are still giving us the same error.
We think its the EL101B or 510D forms that're giving us trouble? They are still listed as unsupported.
Thanks for the update. I just did the same and was able to file Federal but not Maryland State. Nice to not deal with this alone!
Same! We'll probably just end up mailing ours if it doesn't work tomorrow.
btw I was on a support call last night for ~3 hours. They said that if it was a specific form that was preventing the E-file, then the error message should call that form out. They said that it could be the system being bogged down from lots of people trying to submit at once? but there was no 100% concrete cause of this problem.
Thank you to those of you who partially solved the problem by e-filing just your federal taxes.
I was just able to do the same - still get the same error for my state taxes on both trust returns.
Unfortunately, Virginia does not allow one to file these (770) forms by mail, so I must wait for TurboTax to fix their problem with Virginia or if they don't, I will have to find another supplier who has solved this problem. Since I have successfully filed with TurboTax Business for 15 years, I will wait for now... come on Intuit, I am counting on you!
Same issue, same suspicion, although EL101B doesn't even get sent in so I can't figure out why that would be a hold up. I also tried deleting form 510D as I didn't actually think it was required for me, and the efile still didn't work.
Good news, our Maryland return just went through. It didn't work this morning, but it worked just now for some reason. Maybe the servers were actually just super bogged down?
When I try to E-file my Federal Business 1065 it checks the forms and tells me that the designation of partnership representative should not include the mailing address and name. When I delete these it gives me an error message indicating that this information is required. I put the information back in the form and it does another check and indicates that the information is not needed. I have waited several weeks to see if there is an update but the error continues.
My Virginia forms just were accepted as well. Thank you for the heads up.
Unfortunately, the program tells me I am supposed to sign a VA 8453F form and keep with my records. This form is in the database and has the correct values filled in, but the program will not let me print it out in any dialog and gives me an error message when I just try to print the form. I suspect it was supposed to appear below the printed directions telling me to do this but the directions are simply repeated on two pages. Hopefully Intuit will fix this in the future. In the meantime, I have captured a screen print of the form in the database and signed that to make sure we are within the 3 day window called out in the directions.
Having same inability to file using turbotax deluxe. No errors found, just unable too file, get current updates(none available), or currently having technical diifficulties.
Any chance that they will resolve issue to e-file Arkansas Partnership returns? I have e-filed federal and Arkansas returns for 2019 and several years prior. I was unable to e-file the state returns for 2020 and so far 2021. The error message is "the following return cannot be filed electronically" and "Arkansas return" below that. With a March 15 due date, I don't have much time left!
