PAL on rental property that is no longer rented - how do I carry these forward?

I have PAL for my rental property from 2015-2019. In 2020, we stopped renting the property. When I filed my taxes last week, I realized that there was no form 8482 in my return since I had reported no rental income. For some reason TT did not automatically carry over the 8482 PAL from the previous years. Should I manually amend my return for 2020 with the previous years PAL or is that not necessary? The last return showing PAL is 2019.

No, just keep the last Form 8582 that your rental generated. When you sell the property, you can include the amount.
