I buy and sell antiques and vintage items. The majority of the sales occur in booth space I rent in an antique mall. I do not "work" at the store. The Mall is staffed and takes a commission on all sales. I only go there to restock and rearrange the booth as necessary (not daily). Very low percentage of time spent on the business is actually spent at the rented booth space. All administrative and management work is performed at my home, in addition to preparing items for sale (cleaning, repairing, pricing, etc.). My question is whether the mileage to/from the antique mall to update items in the booth is deductible.
