If first name was simply my first initial not my full first name. How will this impact receiving my return?
The IRS will match your last name with your social security number when processing the return. If your tax return is rejected for some other reason you can go back and enter your complete first name and then resubmit your tax return. If you tax return is accepted you are fine and will not need to make any changes.
