As a farm business you only need to file a schedule F

Oh my I should have said sch F thank you for pointing that out. Is there harm in continuing to file

Schedule F is correct. On a Schedule F "chickens and starter plants" can be deducted in the year they were purchased, unlike most all other farm animals or products bought for resale, which are deducted in the year they are sold, on Line 1a, b, and c.
