Is the Quailed business income deduction working on the turbo tax software?

No, the QBI deduction is not yet working in TurboTax. It will be added in an update later in January.

With the latest update, last Thursday, Jan. 10, the QBI deduction is working for Schedule C but not for income from a Schedule K-1. We do not have a date for when it will be working for Schedule K-1.

If you are still not getting the QBI deduction for Schedule C income, try going through the QBI questions again. If it asks you "Do you want to provide more info about this business in case it's needed later?" answer Yes and answer the questions that follow. See if that gives you the deduction. (Thanks to SuperUser dmertz for this information.)

The QBI deduction should appear on Form 1040 line 9.

I'm still not getting the QBI deduction for Schedule C income and I'm not being asked "Do you want to provide more info about this business in case it's needed later?" Please help?

I'm also not seeing ANYTHING about QBI - even though I've got schedule C completed in the software.  I am running the downloaded Mac Home and Business 2018.  How can I get to any questions about QBI?
