TurboTax Home and Business produces a schedule C. which is basically a self employment form. You will not find the Massachusetts SK-1 in this package because it is a Shareholder report. This is a link to get the SK-1: Massachusetts SK-1
Thanks.
Turbo Tax did not include Massachusetts Schedule SK-1. What you suggest? I cannot file tax returns by Turbo Tax. To drop the Turbo Tax? I use Turbo Tax ~ 20 years. It is very disappointing that the Schedule SK-1 was not included.
The SK-1 form is just a holding place for all of your information. You can enter the correct information into the right places in the state program. It verifies your income and deductions at each step.
The goal is to put all of the information into your state return. The SK-1 is not necessary for you to enter a correct return.
Here is a link to State form availability for personal returns. It is updated each year with the forms available. I am sorry you need to enter those parts separately.
Thanks Amy.
I did not include SK-1 in the MA return (since the SK-1 form is not available in Turbo Tax). Per MA audited , I have to pay penalty due to missing the SK-1 in my return. I must include SK-1 for 2019 state return.
I couldn't see the SK-1 in the "State form availability".
I attached a link to the original post Massachusetts SK-1
Thank you
I appreciate the advice to enter the SK-1 figures in the right places in the MA personal income tax form. However, I have no idea where in the Mass non-resident forms to enter SK-1 lines 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 17, 22, 23abc, 24a, 25a, and 27a. I'd welcome advice.
Just fyi, I use Turbotax Premier, which also doesn't provide the Mass SK-1.
Thanks, Jared
TT does not ask for SK-1 information for allocated non-resident income and it's picking up the wrong income. I bought the MA state forms but it's not allowing me to enter the allocated income data.
Ideas on how to do this???
