I am filing 1065 business. I need to file 4797. How do I access that form/ file. I tried various ways and turbox would not allow that form to be created for my usage

Have you entered the disposition of an asset in the interview yet?  The form will automatically be created when you do this.

If you would prefer to instead go directly to the form, you can do this if you are using a Desktop version of TurboTax.

Here is how:

1. While in your TurboTax Desktop return, choose Forms on the top right of your screen.
2. Check the list of forms for Form 4797,  has not already been added to your return. If so, click here to edit.
3. If not, choose the Open Form at the top of the forms list.
4. Search for 4797, open and edit as needed.
