@JotikaT2 - Hello, hope you are well… I do not see the referenced “update your preferences” for data, only for communication preferences. So I clicked on “manage your data”, which took me to an area where you can download, delete, and correct your data. Under that table, there is another table that says “Data used for Intuit products” and it says “no consents available”…(please see below)
I am certain that I placed my name and clicked the checkbox that said “signed on xx/xx/2025”.
So my question NOW, is who do I contact to ASSURE that I withdraw/revoke/remove that consent I no longer want to provide?
Thanks!!🙏🏽
Luis

Yeah they know, it's dsigned to be deceptive, called "dark ux". Then they make it hard to find where to fix it. Why I'm here to as well as a bunch more no doubt. But its on purpose so they'll never fix it. "unethical - lite"
Has anyone found an actual answer to this problem?
Per this thread, To revoke authorization or permission on “Let us use tax info to improve your experience”, a request needs to be submitted from this page (https://www.intuit.com/privacy/submit-a-question/). The form under the “I have a privacy related question” section at the bottom of the page (scrolling all the way down) needs to be submitted.
I filled out that form before I submitted this question. No response.
Same question here. Just fell for the signing off my personal information, and I want to change it before filing.
It depends. You may be able to remove permissions from your account. Use the link(s) below to rescind your prior approval.
This deceptive anti-consumer behavior by Intuit is absurd.
I ACCIDENTALLY accepted the part about using my tax info to improve experience. I DO NOT WISH to let u use my info
There are a couple ways to do this.
Or you do this by contacting Intuit’s privacy team. Send them an email saying: "I am revoking my consent for Intuit to use or disclose my tax return information for any purpose other than the preparation and filing of my 2025 tax return." You can send this to: privacy@intuit.com
