How do I delete an entry in Sale of Business Property?

I have tried all the help sections but I cannot find this entry that is showing up on the summary page to delete.

This could have to do with an item from your business such as a car that you stopped using. You can delete the item by going back into the interview and deleting it. Here is how:

• Business 
• Less Common Business Situations
• Sale of Business Property...update...continue...you should see a summary page (see screenshot)...delete the item
• The amount should not be next to Sale of Business Property any longer
• If you did not have an item to delete or if the amount is still there, the sale is probably from an asset in your business that you sold or stopped using...go to the vehicle or asset section of your business

thanks for the reply. I have looked everywhere put cannot find this entry. The amount is showing up as Sale of Business Property. I don't seem to be able to add a screen shot.

You can try to delete a form 4797 Enterable form. Go to Tax Tools (left of screen), Tools, delete a form. If it is not there it is, like I said, probably from an asset in your business.

googling this topic I see at least 20 intuit threads on this.  None of these seem to really fix the problem  . . . . some of them telly you to go to "forms" but this defeats whole purpose of spending 90 bucks on TT Premium.   This looks like a real error in software you guys need to fix.

To clarify, are you trying to delete 4797 from your Turbo Tax return? Can you be more specific with your issue?

I can't find it and it won't delete

You have to be careful when you delete a form in your tax return, as it might affect the calculations of your return. There are a couple of ways to delete forms in TurboTax. ‌See the TurboTax help articles below for more information:
