HOW DO i DELETE A CATEGORY OF INCOME

I included a category of income for 1099misc under Royalties, but it turns out it needed to be in a different category. How do I delete the empty category. I already entered some information in that category before I discovered my error.

Since most entries translate to a particular form in TurboTax, you can delete the Forms that correspond to the 1099-MISC form that was entered in error.

• Open or login to your TurboTax online return, if it's not already open.
• In the upper right corner, click My Account > Tools.
• In the pop-up window, select Delete a form.
• Click Delete next to the 1099-MISC form(s) that are listed for the Royalties and follow the instructions to remove them.
