How can i put a 1099 in my wifes name on my schedule F? keeps making her independent cont. same income as my 1099s i was out of town

same source of income, i was out of town so they made the check out to her. this doesnt allow expenses on the schedule f effect it.

Since this is for your farming/business income, you do not need to enter the 1099 itself. You can just include it with your other income.

You will need to get the issuer to correct the 1099 so the IRS is not looking for income from her.

can i enter it like it is and then issue myself a 1099 from her for the same amount?
