Turbo Tax told me the K1 forms were not available (specifically 1065) for my 2025 tax return. I signed up for notifications. No notifications. How do I find out if a form is ready?? Someone told me they checked and it is ready. I would like to get official notification if possible.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
Go to this TurboTax website for the status of Business Forms availability - https://care-cdn.prodsupportsite.a.intuit.com/forms-availability/turbotaxbusiness_fed_windows_select...
If you're waiting on a Schedule K-1 that you receive as a partner, you should contact the tax matters partner from your business for notification of when your Schedule K-1 will be ready and made available to you. If you're an investor in a publicly traded partnership, you should check taxpackagesupport.com for your form(s) K-1 (prepared by PWC). You may be able to sign up for notifications from them at that link.
As a recipient of a Schedule K-1 prepared by a tax preparer and furnished to you as an investor to report on your individual tax form 1040, there is no way for TurboTax to notify you of when your tax info has been finalized.
If you're preparing Form 1065 and issuing K-1's to others, you can check your 2025 IRS forms availability in these tables. Forms 1065 and K-1 are ready for preparation and e-filing.
When I tried to enter my K-1 information (already have it with final information filled in) into the form (1065) in Turbo Tax, Turbo Tax responded that the forms were not ready yet and I should sign up for form notifications and I would be notified by Turbo Tax when the forms were ready for use in Turbo Tax. None of this has happened and I was informed by a friend that they saw that the forms were ready in Turbo Tax. I am simply trying to find out if the forms are officially ready for use in Turbo Tax.
And thanks for the link on the forms. I wonder why the Turbo Tax forms notifications did not go out. But that is for a perfect world.
